Zhakathoom Yes, it's a sprocket in red and purple smoke, and I'm not really sure where they're going with that, but never the less; the sound! This Moscow based, self proclaimed power trio claims to be a "strong melt" of stoner, blues, progressive rock and psych. A tall order? I would say so! Do they manage to pull it off? Well, I'm not sure it ticks all of the beforementioned boxes, and there might be you could add a few not already mentioned, but in all I'd say Smokinace nails it in an Uncommon Manner.

This band has already fantastic tracks on their previous albums, I already loved them when buying their album "Ancients", which I found is a little different to the others. For me, after I listened to it a bunch of times, I determined that the difference is nothing else but further development of their music art, while at the same time they still kept a pleasant portion of darkness that makes me love this album as well, maybe even more than their past tracks !!! rock-n-rollex
